In the past five trading sessions (period ending 10/29/08) Cameco shares have experienced near 30% gains in value vs 10% for the S&P.

While some may cast these gains aside, one does have to cross reference these gains with those of other commodity based stocks. An example of this would be the gains in the Potash stocks (AGU, MOS, POT). The Potash group has also experienced large gains outweighing those of the S&P. The held belief with the potash group, as well as the uranium group, is that shares have been unduly beaten down in. Is there still plenty of upside for CCJ, DNN, DML, etc? Only time will tell, although one disconcerting fact for the uranium stock rally has been the lack of volume.
